First run of the season: March 21 at Rock Creek Park. Meet-up location coming from S.C. soon!

Our 2026 Season of Running (and Walking) together is beginning. We usually meet up at the National Mall and set out as runners or as walkers on the trails we've outlined in the map below. For  March / April, you might find some spontaneous meet-ups mentioned on our WhatsApp thread at:

Meantime, give us a date a couple weeks ahead of time to post here on the CCW (and with enough lead time, we can put it onto the Events Calendar.  Just volunteer to be a "host" that greets the group. Send the date, location/logistics, time and your email address for us to post to

We are excited to hear rumors about squads forming for The Amazing Race! We also have interest declared in running at Rock Creek Park as well as possibly Old Town Alexandria's Waterfront in April.
