A family friendly event! Join us for a tour of the Smithsonian’s Udvar-Hazy branch of the National Air and Space Museum. The 2 hour tour guides you through two hangars full of famous air and spacecraft including the WWII bomber Enola Gay, the Cold War era SR-71 Blackbird, the Space Shuttle Discovery, and many more.
After the tour, we’ll meet for lunch at the on-site McDonalds where John Meluso ’13, an aerospace engineer at Orbital ATK in Northern Virginia, will informally discuss his work with rocketry and satellites before giving a brief tour of the Orbital ATK spacecraft at the museum. Feel free to peel off any time after the official tour to explore the rest of the museum, the Observation Tower, and the IMAX Theater.

Parking – $15 per vehicle. Carpool if you like to save on parking fees!
