Help End Hunger with the Capital Area Food Bank. This is the third event in this year's Elizabeth Garrett Cornell Cares Series.

Join the Capital Area Food Bank to help us  at the Bedford Falls Food Distribution Center! This exciting volunteer opportunity is available for up to 15 people on January 19th from 1 pm to 4 pm. Food Bank volunteer duties vary, but typically involve packing and/or sorting donated food, packing for CAFB programs, and assisting with various other tasks at the food bank. All of these tasks are considered light/medium labor and typically involves standing up for up to three hours and lifting up to 35 pounds.

Volunteer activities will take place in either the Food Bank’s Salvage Room or Repack Room and the temperatures can fluctuate, so please dress for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes.
