Located outside Mt. Airy, Maryland, Linganore Winecellars is the largest winery in Maryland and one of the oldest on the East Coast. Since 1971, the Aellen family has operated the vineyard, which now produces over 30 hand-crafted, estate-bottled wines that have won over 200 medals in national and international competitions.

Join third-generation winemaker, Melissa Aellen (CALS ’13), for a private tour of the winery and a discussion of its connection to Cornell. Following the tour, there will be a curated tasting of eight wines in the barrel room. The event will last about 90 minutes. Afterwards, there will be food trucks and live music playing on the lawn for those who would like to stay, relax, and enjoy the beautiful country setting.

Tickets are $27 each and limited to CCW Members. (May add one Guest ticket.)

• Face masks are required at all indoor events by all attendees, regardless of vaccination status. Outdoor masking is required for unvaccinated individuals.
