Part Two: Challenges of Implementing Restore the Vote; the nation is watching DC. Presented by CCW Member Kathy Chiron '72. Restore the Vote legislation gives the franchise to currently incarcerated residents.  Vermont, Maine, DC and Puerto Rico are the only jurisdictions that have this provision. LWVDC has installed a InsiderVoterInformation Phone Line in our Department of Corrections and the Federal Bureau of Prisons.  Learn about the challenges to reach incarcerated DC people; about how you can volunteer to host the Phone Line as well as help with voter registration efforts for our Returning Citizens.
