Hike and Winery-

Saturday, 2-6 pm, June 15, 2024

Gather at 2pm at the Balls Bluff Trailhead Parking. Hike the 2-mile-ish ORANGE trail at the Ball's Bluff Park. It's moderately hilly and mostly wooded with Civil War heritage sites. Downloading the map to your phone helps because there are several trails. 

After hiking, take snacks to the beautiful Casanel Vineyards and Winery, about a 20 minute drive away at 17952 & 17956 Canby Road Leesburg, VA 20175. Bring a wedge of cheese and some crackers or other snacks to share with our group. (Pay your own tab for the wine you order.)

Don't wish to hike? See you at the winery, anyway!

Rain and threatening weather cancels, but very light drizzle will not.  Free for Cornell Club members. $10 Registration for others.

We depart onto the trail promptly at 2:15.  If you're late, no worries. Enjoy your hike of any trail when you get there, and just join us at the winery.
