The Harvard Club of Washington DC invites us to join them for an
FDR Talk:
We're thrilled to announce that we're hosting a book talk with author Paul M. Sparrow for his new work, Awakening the Spirit of America: FDR's War of Words with Charles Lindbergh. This new historical work follows FDR through the early days of World War II, as he fought against isolationism and fascism, particularly the powerful rhetoric of the young, charming aviator Charles Lindbergh.
Join us as Paul M. Sparrow, the former director of the FDR Presidential Library, guides us through the political maneuvers and persuasion that the president used to turn the tide and get Americans on board to preserve democracy and develop into the world's foremost superpower.
