Please join the Cornell Club of Washington and Cornell Asian Alumni Association for a special guided tour of How Can You Forget Me: Filipino American Stories, a powerful exhibition presented by the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center at the National Museum of American History.
Aurianna Nacua, a Gallery Educator from the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center, will lead our group through this compelling and popular exhibition, sharing insights and stories that highlight the rich history, culture, and experiences of Filipino Americans in the United States.

After the guided tour, participants are welcome to continue exploring the museum at their leisure. You may also wish to visit the upcoming exhibition ¡Puro Ritmo! The Musical Journey of Salsa, opening in Spring 2026 in the museum’s Molina Family Latino Gallery. The exhibition traces the evolution of salsa music—from Afro-Cuban roots to its rise in New York and across the United States—featuring iconic artists such as Celia Cruz and Tito Puente and exploring salsa’s lasting influence on American music and culture
