CCW has a block of discounted tickets for the The 2026 Smithsonian Craft Show.
Our group time is set for 1:00 PM on Saturday, but if you cannot make that time, tickets can be used once anytime during the 4 day event (April 23–April 25, 10 AM–5 PM, April 26, 10 AM–4 PM)
It is a showcase for the finest in hand-crafted American artisanal works.
Expert jurors have selected 120 artists for the show from hundreds of applications, representing all facets of contemporary craft and design—basketry, ceramics, decorative fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed-media, paper, wearable art, and wood.
The Craft Show is an exciting opportunity to visit artists, view and purchase American craft, and help support Smithsonian programs and partnerships. This is a museum-quality, juried show featuring craft for sale across the spectrum. Attendees can visit and talk with the 120+ artists exhibiting and learn more about their craft.
The 2026 Honorary Chair is Carol Sauvion, executive director of Craft in America, and guiding force behind Handwork 2026 celebrating 250 years of American craft.
Fundraiser for the Smithsonian Institution
Organized by the all-volunteer Smithsonian Women’s Committee (SWC), the show is a fundraiser for the Smithsonian. All show proceeds are awarded by the SWC to the Smithsonian’s 28 museums and research centers and the National Zoo in grants supporting research, education, and exhibitions. To date, SWC has awarded nearly 15 million dollars in grants to the Smithsonian.
