Marine Corps Marathon: Cornellians cheer our runners

11:15-1:15 Give or take! Join in when you can.

Location: Jefferson and 14th street, SW. At the completion of Mile 19 as the race course bends away from the National Mall (just east of the Washington Monument) to send runners over the 14th Street Bridge.

Closest Metro = Smithsonian. (Beware-- public transportation recommended. The race starts at 7:20 am and with 36,000 participants, it precipitates many road closures.)

The watch party is HAPPENING! Join with our running group's Andrés '24 and Yi, '25 and other Cornellians at the 19th mile! Register so all can look out for one another AND look out for our Cornell Club's marathon participants as they race to "beat the bridge." Cornell Club of Washington's Runners and generous donors have been supporting one another with their fundraising runs that benefit Stop Soldier Suicide and Alzheimer's Association.

Find details, maps, updates for this Cornell Club event and spectator tips at the October entries of their group's Runners' Journal at https://sites.google.com/view/ccw-event-details/running-walking-group/running-journalblog. Wear red!

(Will an additional Cornell Spectator Party form in Crystal City? Maybe somewhere beyond Mile 22 near the Fireball Shots Fella? "More Cowbell!")

Questions? Post them for Andres and Yi at the WhatsApp thread that you'll find at our link below after you look over the resources at the MCM web site for spectators under "Before you Go."
