CAAAN is the Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network, a group of thousands of alumni volunteers who assist the Cornell admissions community in recruiting superior undergraduate applicants.
CAAAN members help prospective students from the three-state Washington, DC region discover more about university life and the rich opportunities Cornell offers. They attend college fairs for high school students around the region in the fall, conduct interviews (individual contacts) with applicants between October and February, and host “Conversations with Cornell” receptions for prospective students in the fall and the spring. The Cornell Club of Washington has historically supported CAAAN's efforts in a variety of ways, including organization of a CCW-sponsored bus trip each Fall for prospective students (click here to learn more).
