    Come join CCW at D.C. United's Summer Kickoff!

    This 2023 season is D.C. United's 28th in existence and their 28th consecutive season in the top division of American soccer, Major League Soccer. In addition to MLS, D.C. United will participate in the 2023 Leagues Cup (beginning July 21), their first international club tournament since 2016. This season is the first full season with Wayne Rooney as manager.

    We have obtained a block of 25 tickets in Section 120 Rows 22-23.  Please also note that there will be a Party at the Pitch with games, music and food outside of the stadium that opens at 4:30pm.

  • In-Person Event: Ivy Social Club - Rock Creek Hike and Thai Lunch

    • Meet outside the Sukyo Mahikari Center, 4479 Connecticut Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20008

    Join the Class of '80, Ivy Social Club, Princeton Club, and Bruce McBarnette (Princeton Club) on a hike in Rock Creek Park, followed by complimentary energy sessions at a wellness center, and free appetizers at a Thai Restaurant.

    Guests must be 18 years of age or older.

    Schedule -

    10:30 AM: We will meet outside the Sukyo Mahikari Center and hike the Melvin Hazen Trail in Rock Creek Park and visit the Pierce Mill. The hike will be an easy 4 mile hike.  Please bring water and footwear that supports your ankles. 

    12:45 PM:  We will visit the Sukyo Mahikari Center for complimentary energy sessions, where practitioners radiate energy from their hand held a few feet away from the recipient.

    1:45 PM:  We will go to Thai Pad (next door to the Sukyo Mahikari Center). Bruce will provide free appetizers. You will pay for anything else you order.

    Metro: All our meeting locations are within a couple blocks of the Van Ness Metro station.

    Cost:  Hike, energy sessions, and appetizers are free.

    The Princeton Club, Ivy Social Club, and Bruce McBarnette (Princeton Club) invite you on a free self guided tour of the White House.   

    The tour is pending approval from the White House. US Secret Service will announce the time two weeks prior to the tour, if it is approved.

    After you complete the first part of registration, Bruce will send to you a link to the White House website where you can complete the second part of registration for the tour. The White House will ask you for your Social Security number so that Secret Service can do a background check.  You may bring up to 2 guests. Children over 4 are allowed.

    Join Bruce McBarnette, Class of '80, Keller Williams Dulles, the Ivy Social Club, the Princeton Club, Yale Club, St. David Men's Fellowship, and friends on a hike of the historic Claude Moore Park, which George Washington used to pass through.

    Cost: Free

    We will hike for about 1 hours and 45 minutes. There is no cost. Parking is free.

    After the hike we will enjoy free refreshments at around 11:15am.

    From 11:30am to 1pm wellness practitioners will offer free energy sessions.

    Bring water and wear sturdy footwear. This will be a moderate hike.
