We'll visit the new exhibit on open air paintings that's in town for a few months. It's oil paintings of all kinds of outdoor stuff: Paris, cows, streets, castles. They have over a hundred of them.
Museum (11 AM - 12 PM): We'll meet at the national mall entrance of the gallery and go to the exhibit together. Here's a description: https://www.nga.gov/exhibitions/2020/open-air-painting-in-europe-1780-1870.html
Lunch (12 PM - 1 PM): After we look at the art, we'll get lunch at the Natural History food kiosk (1306 Madison Dr NW). Here's the menu: https://letseatonthenationalmall.com/assets/menus/AmericanHistoryKioskMenu.pdf
