Celebrate the legacy of Carl Sagan's exploration of the "billions upon billions" in the cosmos.  Join CCW for a star-gazing party at CCW Member Mark Todd’s observatory in Calvert County, MD. We will observe the moon, a few planets, double stars, star clusters, nebulae and maybe some galaxies.

With temperatures in the 20's, dress accordingly, with multiple layers, hats, ear coverings, gloves, and shoes appropriate for climbing stairs and a short ladder.

Refreshments will be available.

• Registration is free and limited to 20 CCW Members only (no guests).
  
• Face masks are required at all indoor events by all attendees, regardless of vaccination status. Outdoor masking is required for unvaccinated individuals.
  
• Participants should avoid direct contact, including handshakes and hugs, with others not from their household.
  
• Special Note - Safety glasses will be available for those who don’t wear glasses to reduce the likelihood of eye contact with the telescope eyepieces.
  
• Participants cannot attend if they are sick or have been near someone who thinks they may have COVID-19 or have been exposed to COVID-19.
