Subject: Rock Creek walk on June 2nd to Parkway Deli

Location: Whittier Trail Head on 16th and Whittier, NW (image below)

Join us for a 1.5-hour walk in Rock Creek, leading to our lunch destination, the Parkway Deli. We will be meeting up at the Whittier Street trailhead in the Brightwood neighborhood, and will be following the Valley Train along the creek. Note that the trail can get muddy, especially if it has recently rained, so wear appropriate shoes! The S9 and S2 buses go right there, and street parking is usually available in the surrounding neighborhood (but check for Sunday hours).
