After the breakout from Normandy, the Allies thought the war might be over by Christmas 1944. It was not to be. Instead, there was a long hard fight to the end, with failed airborne operations, German counterattacks, and inter-allied squabbles. This class will look at how the Allies managed their ultimate triumph in Europe, looking at the battles, soldiers, and generals.
